About Us
OMSCo is short for The Organic Milk Suppliers Cooperative. A cooperative is a group of people that gets together to sell its produce and gives any profits that it makes back to its members.
OMSCo started in 1994 when just five organic dairy farmers got together to try and sell their milk. We now have around 400 farmer members from all over the UK.
OMSCo employs around fifteen staff at an office in Somerset. Here we organise the collection of the milk from each of our farms around the country. It is then sent to customers who prepare and package it so it can be sold in shops and supermarkets. Some of the milk goes to make other dairy products such as cheese, yogurt, cream and ice cream.
We also have a Technical Manager who visits farmers and organises training for them to make sure they know how best to manage their farms, a Quality Manager who ensures that the milk we sell is the best it can be and a Sales and Marketing team that are responsible for finding customers for our milk and making sure our farmers get the best price for it.

OMSCo was formed in 1994 when five like-minded organic dairy farmers joined forces to sell their organic milk. Now with around 400 members, OMSCo is the largest and longest established UK organic milk supplier.
