My nephew, who was one of the cubs who attended spent most of the rest of the weekend on his own personal safari round my overgrown back garden with pot and id card in hand. I will certainly be recommending the activity to other local cub leaders.”

Date: 13, 14 & 15 Oct 2010
Teacher feedback: “We had a fabulous time and crammed in categorizing plants, finding and identifying insects, trapping and observing a small mammal in a real life environment. The children were fascinated by the skins and skulls they were shown. The free hedgerow safari visit covers many aspects of the science curriculum and the fun the children had also covers a wealth of PSHE too! I think you have helped to encourage the children to investigate their locality a little more deeply. They finished off the morning with a glass of organic milk. What a fabulous visit! Healthy, educational and immense fun!”
